Activities

As member of Corporate Risk (Corporate Audit & Risk Organisation), the candidate will be responsible for supporting the Head of Corporate Risk in  defining and deploying the company resilience roadmap within the wider context of ST’s strategic imperatives and Risk Framework as follow:

  • Manage and continuously improve the Company “Resilience Management System” (RMS), 
  • Manage the ISO 22301 certification, 
  • Management of  external certification body, 
  • Management of pool of internal auditors, 
  • Management of internal ISO 22301 audit programme, 
  • Provide subject matter expertise on specific components of the resilience roadmap, 
  • Embody the “tone from the top” in relation to resilience and lead by example, 
  • Design, manage, roll-out and monitor specific Business Continuity Management projects  across organisations / sites globally, 
  • Create reports and presentation materials to communicate resilience  status and metrics to Executive Management.

This involves working with a global network of resilience professionals and  a wide array of internal and external stakeholders to contribute to ST’s  resilience objectives in one or several of the following dimensions.

- Ensuring main sites remain operational 
  • Provide factual transparency on exposures (Site Resilience Index) and readiness levels, 
  • Assist in definition of Site Improvement Plans (SIPs) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).

- Selectively developing back-up options across internal and/or external sites 
  • Support relevant functions (e.g. Product Groups, Supply Chain and Manufacturing) in light of various potential crisis scenarios.

- Ensuring continuity of full supply chain (esp. third parties) 
  • Support relevant functions (e.g. Purchasing, outsourced activities, Logistics…) in improving visibility on third party resilience, and in driving improvement  over time, 
  • Provide a consolidated monitoring on Company exposures to  potential events.

- Managing the scrutiny from clients and other stakeholders 

  • Contribute to responses to resilience-related queries from external stakeholders (customers, analysts, etc.) such as questionnaires /  surveys or “crisis event” related communication, 
  • Support relevant functions  (e,g, Sales & Marketing, External Communications, Product Groups, CSR…).

- Improving company-wide capability to respond to crises 
  • Improving company-wide capability to respond to crises, 
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of actionable plans to ensure the company is prepared to respond to and recover from events / crises on a global basis, including the definition and deployment an adequate training and simulation programme, 
  • In the event of a crisis or potential crisis, facilitating adequate response and recovery in order to protect ST’s people, operations, and reputation.

This position requires the ability to understand Resilience management  (covering both business continuity and crisis management), the  semiconductor industry, and strong networking and communication skills.


Candidate profile

Education and certification 
Business school / University degree. Post-graduate degree related to Risk  Management an advantage.


Experience 

A minimum of 7+ years of professional experience, 

In Risk Management / Business Continuity / Crisis Management (a big 4 is a +, a central/corporate position is a must), 

Knowledge of ISO 22301 is a must (personally trained and certified as an internal auditor), In community management. In a diverse, international setting.
